Master and Doctorate in Medicine and Human Health

The Master and the Doctorate of Medicine and Human Health programs aim to prepare a multidisciplinary team for an integral approach to health with regard to their biopsychosocial aspects. It provides training for teaching, research, and care. The creation of the Master's degree and Doctorate in Medicine and Human Health culminated in 2005, with the obtaining of the Brazilian Ministry of Education and Culture’s (MEC) highest qualification.

Master of Health Technologies

The Masters of Health Technology program aims to give students a solid technical and scientific education, and the capacity to work successfully in an interdisciplinary setting in various fields of research, development and technological innovation related to the human health area. Through their research, students will evaluate, develop and improve clinical and laboratory processes, products, and health technology services that are useful as substitutes or helpers in the repair of organ failure for human systems and tissues.

Thus, the program aims to build scientific and technological knowledge accessible to many professionals from different areas, and to foster the attainment of processes, protocols, methodologies, practices, resources, products and services aimed at improving the quality of life of people who use health technology.

Master of Psychology and Health Interventions

This program qualifies professionals in the area of Psychology and other areas of study for an advanced and transforming occupational practice, through applied researches, with the following objectives:  

Specific objectives:
- Expand the methodological- theoretical repertoire for a clinical practice in health contexts; 
- Develop critical thinking and autonomy in the development of research that is applied in the contexts of practice in health; 
-  Promote the education of independent researchers, with broad knowledge on different processes of clinical work and its potential of scientific production; 
- Foster the articulation of professionals and companies with complementary vocation for the development of technological solutions for healthcare.
