This course develops biomedical physicians for the area of human and environmental health, with a humanistic approach, which trains participants to work in cytological, environmental and clinical analysis, and in diagnostic imaging and research. It is based on scientific and intellectual rigor, guided by solid, ethical principles and current, up-to-date technological advances. As professionals, participants are conscious of the importance of knowledge of the socio-economic, ethnic and cultural reality of the communities where they will be working and are capable of acting effectively in the resolution of issues relating to human health and the environment.
