Required Documents for Admission

Free Mover Applicants (Independent)

Independent applicants, also known as Free Movers, are students who apply individually without being part of a formal agreement between institutions. Those applicants must ensure they meet all program requirements and provide the following documents:

  • Post-secondary transcripts: All original post-secondary transcripts must be submitted and include the corresponding grading scale.
  • Valid Passport 
  • Proof of Full-Time Enrollment
  • Letter of Interest
  • International Health Insurance
  • Vaccination Records

Students Affiliated with the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA) / CLEV (Coordenação de Estágios e Vivências)

This category includes students applying through IFMSA or CLEV. These students must ensure they meet all program requirements and provide the following documents:

  • Post-secondary transcripts: All original post-secondary transcripts must be submitted and include the corresponding grading scale.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Valid Passport 
  • Proof of Full-Time Enrollment
  • Letter of Interest
  • International Health Insurance
  • Vaccination Records

Students from Partner Universities

Students from institutions with established partnerships or agreements with BAHIANA are eligible to participate in exchange programs under specific terms. Those applicants must ensure they meet all program requirements and provide the following documents:

  • Post-secondary transcripts: All original post-secondary transcripts must be submitted and include the corresponding grading scale.
  • Valid Passport
  • Proof of Full-Time Enrollment
  • International Health Insurance
  • Vaccination Records

Required Vaccines

COVID-19 (4 doses), Hepatitis B (3 doses), Diphtheria and Tetanus – dT (3 doses), Influenza, Yellow Fever, Poliomyelitis, Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR);

Proof of citizenship
Applicants from countries whose citizens are permitted to enter Brazil using a national identity card may submit this document in place of a passport, when applicable.

Note: All documents must be digitized or scanned. Photos of documents will not be accepted.
