Description:
The program involves recognizing the impact of Social Determinants of Health on the health-disease-care process. Participants will develop skills to lead group activities in health education, outreach, and awareness, promoting self-care and citizenship in line with the principles of Popular Health Education. Additionally, students will collaborate in planning and executing interdisciplinary health education initiatives with children, adolescents, adults, and/or elderly groups, working alongside BAHIANA health students and faculty.
The activities may be conducted in various settings, such as daycare centers, public schools, family health units, smoking cessation groups, associations, and community NGOs.
Prerequisites
- Undergraduate students from all health-related programs (from the 2nd semester onward).

NOTE: The internship is a hands-on program taught in Portuguese. In case of non-proficiency in Portuguese, the student can attend as an observership.
